CNC Lathe Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and machining a wide variety of components, working with advanced equipment, and ensuring quality standards. If you’re detail-oriented, disciplined, and eager to take on new challenges, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes, including HAAS and Doosan machines.
  • Set up machine tools, offsets, and jigs to achieve precise part tolerances.
  • Machine and inspect components to ensure they meet engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot CNC machine code and effectively communicate with CNC Programmers.
  • Operate manual machining equipment when required.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and report any concerns for correction.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency with Fanuc, HAAS, and Accurite controls.
  • Experience with Mastercam and G-code programming is an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist.

  • Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience

Machine Builder

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machine Builder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting custom machinery and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience in machine building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, and commission custom-built machinery and equipment based on engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand equipment requirements and assembly instructions.
  • Fit and assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to meet precise tolerances.
  • Test and troubleshoot machinery to ensure proper functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve any assembly or functionality issues.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on existing machinery as required.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
  • Document all build processes and maintain accurate records of modifications.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Machine Builder or in a similar mechanical assembly role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems is an asset.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine building or mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Diploma or degree in a related technical field is preferred but not required.
